A received message send to user-a & user-b at local.com, goes to the inbox of either user-a or user-b; never to both inboxes.

What could be the problem here?

What is the relation between user-a & user-b?  How are these accounts configured in relation to one another?  From where to the messages originate?

If the accounts are linked/attached, the system may not send to both addresses as it will see it as the same message (There is a setting which can control this.)

Would need more information to get you down the right path.

I'm happy to hear that there is a setting to control this behaviour.

The message could originate from any source.
And there is no relation between user-a & user-b other than:
  • Both recipients of the same message
  • Both being a user within the same domain

Like: Message1
SendTo: user-aATdomain.com, user-bATdomain.com

There is a setting under Mail Service:Delivery entitled Dedupe email messages.  If a single user is going to receive multiple copies messages of the same message the system will only deliver one.

I have never experienced a problem with emails not being delivered in cases like this.  I would venture to say that there is a configuration error somewhere, the a/s is grabbing the message, or the message isn't actually being delivered to both users.

Increase logging (SMTP, A/S) and follow the message(s) path through the system.

BTW...
quote:

SendTo: user-aATdomain.com, user-bATdomain.com
... is not legal for email addresses with some systems.  Using the comma, may have the sending system send only one (or no) email.

If you prove some details, we can help more.

hi i got almost similar issue. In my case whenever user send an email to a specific recepient lets say 6 recepients. all recepients received 6 emails each with the same contents, and if i have 10 recepients all recepients received 10 emails with the same contents.

Another issue also occured, when users sends an email to a specified domain, emails will remain in the queue and will send most likely 2-3 days.

I would appreciate if anybody in this forum would help me with this issue i encounter.

Looking forward and thanking you in advance for your kind response.

Regards,

Ray

I think, that for these issues, you might be best served by writing into support@icewarp.com, or going to http://esupport.icewarp.com and opening up a ticket with the support team.
