Hi,

Theres the LDAP/Groupware integration (see Gware section in console), but I believe such feature of using LDAP for mailing lists is not supported. How exactly would this feature you suggest work?

The integration that exists in in terms of syncing users and their pwds... Or groupware integration.

regards,
Marcio

Hi,

I'm trying to write a script in order to add mailing lists into Merak's ldap on Merak mail server 9.2.1.
I suppose I must select into Merak's 'users' table all lignes where 'U_Type' = 1, and then insert them into ldap database.
My problem is that I don't know how to do that ^^
If anyone has any idea ... Thanks!

Regards,
Claire

Hi, Claire

The normal LDAP sync does not sync mailing lists? Maybe its best to ask for a feature request, changing it manually might not be a good idea.

I would check with support.

This might help: http://esupport.icewarp.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=38

If possible keep us posted.

Marcio

Hi, Srvinfo

Im pretty sure such feature does not exist. I would suggest you open a feature request on the forum or maybe check first with support.

Marcio

I have to bypass LDAP checks when accepting messages for mailing lists.  I would like to have this feature as well.

Guys,

Id suggest you guys add this as feature request in the forum, its where IceWarp looks for enhancement requests. I suggest the interested people reply to it, so they can see that there are many interested people.

I also suggest you guys detail exactly what you want, how, why, etc.

regards,
Marcio
