We have gotten complaints from our customers who try to send a mail
with umlauts/special-characters (äöü etc).
They get an error [see attached screen shot] if they use these characters in the subject line OR in the body...

What can we do about this?

Merak Version 9.2.1
Firefox 3

Status: offline 		Merak Version 9.2.1 is not compatible with Firefox 3. Update to 9.3.1 and it will work.

Same problem for me, but with Webmail/Pro and V 9.3.1/2 no solution. Still the same problem.
Can confirm, that this is not an issue with IE7. But we would prefer Firefox for all our application.
Is there some news?

Afaik this was fixed in 9.3.2.

Maybe youre talking about the Firefox 3.04 issue? See http://forum.icewarp.com/fb.aspx?m=1400&key=

I suggest you check with support detailing step by step how to reproduce.

My pleasure. Actually its a Firefox bug, IceWarp was really nice to have made a patch fast anyways...
