I am curious if anyone is using the spam reports.  I have turned it on for my own account to test, and I have it set to only include new SPAMs in the message, scheduled twice per week, but the size of it when it comes is still between 1 and 2 MB, which is too large to open quickly.  I think all of the code for the buttons is taking up too much space in the message.  Any suggestions?

Hi,

what's the problem, if the mail is 1-2 mb big? Probably you should schedule it twice per day and review it more often? IMO the reviewing has to be done only for a few days, because after wards you will have a lot white listed what has been erroneously marked as spam.

Isn't the spam report very useful on enhancing the amount of false positives for you?

Can't place the 1 till 2 MB. We are already using the spamreports for most of our customers for 2 years on a daily basis.
A simple spamreport with 1 line is about 5 to 6 kb, the buttons included. So how many lines do you have in your spamreport to reach 1 till 2 MB?
I agree with regard to the design that it could be improved. Our customers are used to it now, but never liked it.
Especially when the list is long (600 items or so) it is a pain in the ass to go through.
Another problem is that the actions taken not always do function. The reports are under some local circumstances instable.

Hi Claus,

you say the reports are sometimes not stable. What happens exactly?

I had the report broken, it stopped at a certain user, I had to delete some spams out of that user's mailbox to get the report finished.

I opened a ticket for that issue yesterday, got no reply yet.

For the second part of your message: see the other forum issue "spam reports not sent". There you will find the information you need.
With regard to "not stable": what happens is that under certain conditions the buttons in the spamreport not are functioning the way they should. The message is that the mail can not be removed. So customers receive their spamreport but can't do anything with it.
The answer on this problem you also can find in the other forum-issue. The developers are working on a complete renewed spamreport for version 10.
