Hello
i've two Merak MailServers
In one of this i've this problem : the WebMail said (a lots of time) PAGE NOT FOUND.
There are some errors to charge Frame (skin Outlook 2003).
But some time ago....i haven't this problem!

I think immediatly to a connectivity/client problem, but if i navigate the webmail of the other server i've no problem. The Merak version is 9.2.1
I've just try to:
- move the HTML folder
- replacethe HTML folder with the one from another server
- change the location of storage disk
- change the location of users (webmail) folder.

I've not dound the solution.
I'm thinking to rebuild the entire server.

Hi,

I can only imagine some type of problem with path in the web server, although you say it happens just sometimes, really strange. You can always try to backup merak/config/webserver.dat (where settings for web sites such as webmail are) and also rename html/webmail and reinstall so IceWarp replaces with fresh files. Maybe also activating web server logs can help. If you dig around a bit in such a way you will surely fix it. When it fails, try to load some test htm page on the root of web server. Worse case yes you can do a fresh install, but you should be able to pinpoint the problem and replace just those problematic files or configuration.

Case needed, I suggest you contact support.

Hope it helps.

regards,
Marcio

Hello
THIS IS A VERY VERY STRANGE PROBLEM!

I've rebuilt the server. (New server, Merak Reinstall, ecc.)
I've assigne 2 ip address to the server.
If i use ONE of this (main)....my WebMail is "destroyed". It don't charge the css, or frame, etc.
If i use the other Ip, it's all OK.

But....Windows 2003 have some connection limit on tcp/ip?

Hello, Ihave exactly the same problem !!
I run only one Merak server, and about 8 hours ago the webmail ceased to respond and send a "page not found" message...
The "old" webmail continued to run for a while. Now both does not.
I reinstalled Merak, checked the services, reboot the server... nothing. All other services and connection on the server are OK. Only the webmail fails....
Any idea ???
Thanks

Guys,

Really strange, have never seen this, maybe best to open a support ticket. Have to understand if its a path issue or whats going on, put some HTM page in the root path defined in web server, see if it loads (try to load /admin), etc. Maybe youre having performance issues and webmail is going offline, but thats not a reason for showing page not found. In case of performance issues you can run Webmail pro in FastCGI (do a search on forum, there are tips).

regards,
Marcio

Hey guys,

I don't think the re-direction or page forwarding is working on the Windows boxes. To get mine to work, I had to do the following with the login.js file.

--------------------------------------
this.sServerURL = 'proxy.php';
this.sClientUrl = 'http://YourMailServer.com/webmail/';
--------------------------------------

What that does is give a direct link instead of having to worry about the redirection. It works great.

Now the problem is when people logout. When they logout, they are returned to the IceWarp/Merak login page. They are NOT returned to the external login page. Does anyone know the file(s) responsible for this? A direct link my need to be placed there so that people are returned to the external login page.
