In the webmail GUI I do not want my client to see that there is an option for white list or black list nor see any spam foled. How do I custumize the menu bar at the webmail?

Hi Tapuz,

Do you want to disable the spamfolder?
If Yes, you can do it in the GUI,
"Account/User" > Options;
Spam folder mode: Do not use SPAM folder.

If you want to disable folder like, Journal, RSS, Task or File.
In WebMail PRO,
Tools > Administrator Options > General > Restrictions;

About the "Filters" folder I'm not really sure how to disable that =)

This is not effecting the webmail GUI.  In the webmail the client still see the spam folder.

Hi,

This seems to be a bug. I suggest you open a support ticket to IceWarp about it.

I confirmed it. When you choose to disable the spam folder, it really does reflect in user's settings, in the Options tab (in IceWarp console).

The problem is that, if you choose to not have a spam folder, it does not "disappear" from webmail pro for the user.

Cheers,
Flávio

Hi Tapuz,

I never tried to disable the spam folder and thought that the "Do not use SPAM folder" setting will disable the spamfolder. Sorry for that.

Let me know what the support says. I think they know how to disable the spamfolder =)

Hmm, I think your have done something with your settings. I use 9.3.2 and works fine for me when I do like i said befor;
"Account/User" > Options;
Spam folder mode: Do not use SPAM folder.

Try this,
Anti-Spam > Action > Spam > "Place spam message under spam folders"

Hi, Anglus

The problem is if you create a spam folder and later via console disable it, then it still appears in Webmail pro. Not sure if as you said if you disable it via Webmail itself, it goes away. Anyways, the first issue seems to exist.

About setting spam folder as default, gotta be careful, as if user uses POP and isnt aware of spam folders (that he has to check via webmail or use spam reports), he might think he is losing messages, as spam folder works just for imap and webmail (unless you use spam reports which is nice workaround).

regards,
Marcio

Hi Marcio,
Ok, thx for the info.
About that "Place spam message under spam folders" setting.
If you disable this option the spam will go to the Inbox what I meant was try to DISABLE that option and check what happens with the spam folder =)

Anyway seams to be fixed now =)

Tapuz, did you get any info about the "Filters"(Black/Whitlist)? Do you know how to disable that folder?

Hi, Agnlus

Sure, no problem. About what you said, if I disable that option, the spam folder goes away for user (unless user has explicit option use spam folder set to yes/no and not to default). So its working correctly. The problem seems to be the previous one mentioned, if a user tries to disable spam folder inside WebMail, it doesnt disappear.

About disabling Filters/Black and whitelist AFAIK its only possible by disabling antispam service (and quarantine if you have it on) for the user. You have to change your antispam to per user access mode for that. Its not so common Afaik to want to disable black and whitelist, but you can always add a feature request.

I myself vote for black/whitelist to appear in the tree on left side without being inside Filters, as many dont know its in there.

regards,
Marcio
