No matter what i do i can not seem to get it to work.

I have no license for groupware, but the service is started. I was told that i did not need a license for the non shared stuff. anyone now why my contacts and calenders are missing?

Under groupware i added sqlite as the database.

This is a question that would generally be better sent to the Support staff at http://esupport.icewarp.com .

Either way for the community (and support) to assist would require more information.
* What version are you running?
* Do the logs provide any insight (groupware, error, etc) ? (What level are you running the logs?)
* Do the contact/events show incorrectly or are they not showing at all?
* how are you adding the contacts, import or single via web interface?

Not to imply that we are not having problems, the groupware service in our case appears to function without issue.  I do recall that there were some configuration snafus initially.  In addition, depending on version the was a db connection issue.

I solved it my self ..

Aparenly icewarp is not x64 native code .. so it was running in x32. So the ODBC connections i as making were X64 (windows tool) You need to use the 32bit version of ODBC for icewarp. Once i did that worked fine.

Just wanted to re-iterate that Support does not do any support through the forums. If anyone would like help with this from the Icewarp Support staff they will need to submit a ticket to http://esupport.icewarp.com

My intent was not to imply that Support is available through the forum... just that in requesting help you need to provide good information.

that's all nothing else...

Hi, Bilbus

This might be usefull for others, Ive had it happen to me also and I believe it is scheduled to become a FAQ after I talked to IW support about it.

On Windows x64 editions, you should use the ODBC administration tool located at %SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe, this will correctly locate the installed Connector/ODBC drivers and enable you to create a Connector/ODBC DSN.

Details: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/myodbc-errors.html#qandaitem-26-1-7-3-1

If someone wants to use mysql as merak storage with win 64 bits, they should use MyODBC 3.5.1 (32 bit) and follow instructions in above link of where to create datasource.

regards,
Marcio

My apologies. I misunderstood the wording of the post. It makes sense now.
