You might have HTTP to HTTPS redirection as such:

http://webmail.mydomain.com redirects to https://webmail.mydomain.com

It used to work that way.

Now its REQUIRED to be setup as such:

http://webmail.mydomain.com/* redirects to https://webmail.mydomain.com/*

or http://* redirects to https://* (which, AFAIK, used to cause problems with flash upload)

Note the * is now required, as per informed in documentation.

Iif some of your customers started to receive a message "user unknown: rejecting" even for existing accounts after upgrade to 10.4 then you can use this workaround: perform any action which saves the user settings again, for example you can migrate the accounts from file system and back or use command "tool set account *@* u_smtp 1".

Affected are the installations with accounts stored in file system, but only in the case that user aliases have been saved in upper case - saving aliases in upper case has been disabled since version 9 so only really old customers may be affected (and of course not all of them). The bug has been fixed in version 10.4.1 which will be released soon. So check if you have aliases with capital letters.

If you had created special hostnames in the IceWarp Web server pointing directly to /pda or /basic, the rule descriptions must be changed.

* How to create specific hosts in Web server for Mobile and Tablet interfaces

It's not possible, any longer, to create a specific host pointing directly to Mobile (html/webmail/pda) or Tablet (/html/webmail/basic) interface. To create specific hosts to access such interfaces, please follow the procedure below.

Create, for example, tablet.yourdomain.com or mobile.yourdomain.com on your DNS server pointing to IceWarp's IP.

In the IceWarp console, in the Web Server, add a new site... Change it to custom settings, label it, for example tablet.domain.com, keep home base path to html/webmail, then in the rewrite tab you shall see a Webmail redirect, as such:

Source
^/$

Destination
/webmail/ [R]

Regex = yes

Change the destination to /webmail/basic/ [R,L]

Same procedure for creating a specific host for mobile interface, replacing the redirection to /webmail/pda/
