itdaddy -> MSG files abandoned in webmail (9/25/2008 6:14:22 AM)

I have found that our user accounts are creating \domain\user\~webmail\user@domain\NNNN\*.msg files on the mail server whenever a message is viewed in Webmail Pro. Does anyone know what is causing this or how to stop it as the total storage space of these messages in this hidden folder, ~webmail, is causing many users to reach the mailbox limits?
