bolong -> incoming email issue (9/15/2008 1:14:47 AM) Hi guys, Need some help in here. I have a problem with some of incoming email in the company that i working for. I can't recieve some of incoming email, Im a new merak user, can anyone give some tips of what is cause and solutions of this issue. Note: Those email is working fine couple of months ago and suddenly the problem occur. Any help is appriciated. bolong

marciohumpris -> RE: incoming email issue (9/20/2008 2:58:27 AM) Bolong, Secsol gave some good tips. From what I understand its incoming mail, so mail sent from outside like GMail to your server. What error message did the sender receive? Does it happen only with some remote systems? They can check their logs. Or you can try to send from some other mail server whose logs you have access to and check the logs and try to telnet to your box from this other server. Receiving mail is related with MX, see if your MX is setup up accordingly. Check if port 25 is open for incoming connections on your box. regards, Marcio
