Hello,
I need to move from exchange to Icewarp groupware, so I need to use migrazion tool

Starting point is a W2K controller, with Exchange 2K.
Target point is a W2K3 controller, with Icewarp 9.

Starting migration tool as user guide describes (on the E2K), it doesn't work because it doesn't find Merak components (?). So I manually register the COM libraries that are provided with the tool, and the tool now starts. But when I try to setup a migration, it closes after first form and error log says that is unable to find supervisor account and merak is not installed on this server (of course! the user guide says that the tool may be runned on the exchange, and merak may not be installed on!).

I also tried to install Icewarp (with groupware, it requires this too!) on the E2K. The tool starts, but it closes after tha first form too, and log reports that it was trying to access AD.

Please help: I cannot setup groupware and I cannot move my users from exchange to icewarp!

Hi, Trapulo

Youre using the Exchange migration tool (which is a beta)? It states on IW site that you should contact IW about that tool as its a beta.

I believe its easier (although its manual work) for you to use the normal migration tool embedded into Merak for migrating accounts and message.

And install the connector on each machine that you want to migrate Outlook objects (contacts, calendar, tasks, etc) and synchronize manually from Outlook to Merak.
